The first thing that comes to our mind when we think of Kenneth and Melissa is that they are ever the loving and sweet couple. From the day we met them, they both have been loving and thoughtful towards each other, and despite the fact that Kenneth disliked the idea of gate-crashing, he still go for it! And when the day arrived, Kenneth has his armor ready. He suit up, put on his black canvas shoes, looking suave and all gear up to “pick up his bride” in his black 4-ring SUV!! Whilst Kenneth’s entourage was breakfast-ing at ‘mamak’, Melissa’s ‘ji-muis’ came prepared with their armors, ready to torture the groom and his buddies! Well, at the end of the day, it was a game well played… Kenneth managed to pull it off! And it seemed Melissa has been anxiously waiting for Kenneth to get through all the tortures. Being the nice person she always has been, she could not stop worrying for Kenneth. As soon as Kenneth entered the room with his eyes being blind-folded, i could see the big smile on her face, yet seem ‘sakit hati’ that poor Kenneth has gone through a tough time with the ji-muis. But that was not the end yet. The last task was to eat off all the colorful popcorns that were necklaced on her, with eyes blind-folded!! Okay, enough for the tease now. It was an interesting chinese wedding coverage of Henry and Joveyn over the last weekend in KL. This is another wedding celebration of theirs as they have had a beach wedding back in KK, the state where Joveyn’s family and friends reside at. The KL wedding was filled with loads of fun, laughter and spontaneous “heng-tai”. During the pick-up bride games session, Joveyn’s ‘jie-mui” has well prepared the games to torture the “heng-tai”, and little did we expect that Henry and his “heng-tai” would be so spontaneous, as they were seen having loads of fun playing the games, more than any other heng-tais that we have seen so far…literally with no complaints at all!! On that day, Joveyn wore a red gown with a red veil, and she looked trendily gorgeous in that gown, anxiously waiting for Henry to get through all the barriers! Anyways, it was really an honor to be there to cover their big day, such a down-to-earth and lovely couple despite their socialite status.  Here goes their SDE video, enjoice!!

It was fun shooting john and awan wedding over the last weekend, was more like shooting a friend’s wedding than feeling like a supplier there. Few days prior to the wedding, we had a second meet up with the couple, to discuss their itinerary and once again, got to know them more in-depth. The thing that got me surprised was when i seated next to awan, the first conversation that she had with me was “how’s your london trip?” then followed with “congrats on your engagement, i saw your video….” And on that instant i felt like was just meeting another friend of mine, when in fact, that was only our second meet up with them!! And all i had in my mind was, boy oh boy, awan is such a selfless and caring girl, instead of asking and concerning about the wedding stuff, she was more concern of our engagement, and i had no idea that she could still remember after so long.

Awan and John had known each other for the past 25 years; when they first met eyes at the age of 3, they had activities together and were caught snapping photos together back then!! John and awan is no doubt a matching couple; awan is always seen with her happy, pretty, selfless and caring personalities when john is the man who always has a big, warm and care-free smile on his face. We could still recall the time when awan was worrying that the renovation in their room that was still on-going as their wedding is just a few days away, but john just kept looking at awan and kept giving his big and stress-free smile. Funny though, but came to think of it, he must be too excited that she’s gonna be his wife in a few days time.

The bridal pick up session was quite a fun scene, not only did the brothers and sisters had great fun, but awan’s dad was actively involved as well. Uncle was seen happily recording every bit of the moments with his camcorder, and when john finally has awan’s hand from the sisters, his father jokingly asked “john, my daughter pretty or not?”.. Awan is such a cheekie person, we’re surprised of her spontaneous response!

It was just last month we were in Beijing to film their love story, and spent an amazing week long with our cute and lovely couple, Daniel and Kammy; and they had their wedding ceremony back in their hometown Bintulu over the last weekend. Daniel and Kammy has known each other since primary school years, they both live in the same neighborhood in Bintulu, never bumped into each other after primary years despite staying so near, and only to find each other again in friendster when they are both in different part of the world. Little did they know that their friendship would spark into another stage via online texting from west and east part of the world.

Their wedding in bintulu was warm and entertaining, as half of the bintulu people were invited to their wedding celebration, and to top it up, bintulu people are genuinely nice. It was yet another heartfelt entertained wedding, with William Lee being the emcee for the whole day has got the ground laughing away! Of course, the focus was not on William, in fact it was the newly-wed who was the center of attention. Daniel who is soft spoken, humble and a “yes” man; is the opposite of Kammy who is determined, hyper and an iron girl. Both of them make a lovely couple, as you could see them teasing each other this minute, but turns to be a loving couple the next minute. It is this magical chemistry that keeps their sparks and make them an unique couple!

We have had the wittiest groom in the last post, now we have our next funny yet shy groom, Kristofer. Kris is a phillipino who grew up in malaysia. And melinda is like a career woman who is capable of handling all the wedding planning for their wedding. This couple has nothing less than any ordinary couple, just that they have an extra bit of cuteness in them that would steal the limelight of others. When we were with them, they had this fantastic ‘special’ bond and we could just sit and watch them have their conversations. lol. If one’d been with them, you’d know how cute they’d get! =D

During the prep in shangri-la’s hotel, kristofer was shy to let us shoot him when he has no t-shirt on! Yup, he is this shy… and we think he definitely is a keeper. He showed us all the Gucci presents that melinda had gifted him through out their dating years, and said that he’d been keeping them for their ‘big day’ coz very ‘sayang’ to use it. How thoughtful of him. Since he is a phillipino, him and his bestmen had put on their tradition clothes, which is called the ‘barong’ instead of tux!! On top of that, kris and mel had both prepared a present for each other, as according to kris, it is the phillipine-chinese tradition. Guess what, they both got each other a Bvlgari watch!

Melinda is every guy’s girl and she is definitely kris’ dream girl. Well, kris fell in love with melinda at first sight and waited till the day she gave him her phone number. She is down-to-earth despite her status, humble and nice girl who is just the prefect one for kris.
