Roshan and Ashika's Indian wedding was an unforgettable celebration of love and culture. The couple, who met in Melbourne, decided to have their wedding back in Roshan's hometown of Kuala Lumpur. It was a joyous occasion where friends and family from all over the world gathered to witness their union. The festivities began with the Sangeet ceremony, which took place at The Grounds KL. The rustic industrial event space was decorated with a Udaipur theme, complete with colorful drapes and flowers. Guests were greeted with turban tying and the couple made a grand entrance with a dance performance. The evening was filled with laughter, dance performances by family and friends, and a feast of delicious food. The next day, Roshan's Haldi ceremony took place at home with close family and friends. The traditional ceremony involved applying turmeric paste on the groom's face, hands, and feet to ward off evil spirits. It was a fun-filled event, and Roshan even jumped into the pool at the end of the ceremony! The wedding ceremonies began with a Sikh wedding at the Gurdwara Sahib Petaling Jaya Sikh Temple. Roshan arrived with his Baraat, dancing and celebrating with his friends and family. Ashika's family welcomed him with open arms as he made his way to the temple entrance. The ceremony was beautiful and filled with meaningful rituals. The Hindu wedding ceremony took place at the Boat House Ampang, and Ashika made a grand entrance with her brother and cousin in a Palanquin. Her parents accompanied her as she walked down the aisle, looking absolutely stunning in her bridal attire. The ceremony was a blend of tradition and modernity, and the couple exchanged vows amidst the beautiful setting. The grand finale was the reception held at the majestic hotel. It was a night filled with emotional and funny speeches by friends and family, and everyone was in high spirits. The dance floor was packed, and everyone had a great time celebrating the newlyweds. Roshan and Ashika's wedding was a perfect blend of traditional Indian culture and modern-day celebrations. The couple's love and joy were felt by everyone who attended, and it was truly a memorable event.
